What a great find between all the burger, BBQ and pizza places in the area. We are so glad, we found this restaurant. The food was delicious! Great flavors and generous portions. The restaurant is super cozy and the owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. If you are a local and have not been here- putzige on your list! If Ware, like us, passing through and want something different than burgers, steak and pizza- this is your hidden gem!
This was the best dining experience I've had in some time. The staff was so friendly and anticipated my food and beverage needs. Azhar, the owner, even came out and introduced herself. The menu was small only in number of dishes, catering to a wide range of tastes. After trying the sambusak, steak frites, and several of the daily specials, I believe every item on the menu is incredible. I would come to this area just to eat at this restaurant again.
I was taken to this restaurant on a first date, and it surpassed my expectations! We got there early (around 5:00) and had the place to ourselves. The atmosphere was lovely, the music was very soothing, and the decor was beautiful. The host was superb as well as our waitress. The staff was attentive but also gave us our privacy. Everything we ordered was delicious! We had the falafel, the kebab, and the curry dishes. We also ordered baklava for dessert, which was some of the best baklava I’ve ever had. It had the perfect balance of salty and sweet with lots of cinnamon. Overall, we had a fabulous evening at Saffron. I highly recommend this for any special occasion meal!
Can't wait to return. Will bring a party of 6 for the Morrocan room experience-next time. The stunningly beautiful environment, service, and meal was the best of the best.
An amazing vegan meal at Saffron. We had the curry Kushari. The setting is gorgeous, the staff is a great team. I highly recommend enjoying your time in Butte with a wonderful meal here. I am looking forward to coming back.
We literally chose the travel route home to Wisconsin from Washington State just to stop and eat at this restaurant. It was worth the 5 hour drive!! The warm and friendly service is only matched by the incredibly delicious and amazing food. We found this hidden gem on a previous road trip last July to the West Coast during a really severe hail storm. We were so happy to finally meet the owner, Azhar. She is so warm and friendly and from Chicago like us!! We highly recommend this amazing restaurant and know you will enjoy your experience like we do!! Order the Shish Kabobs and Moroccan Chicken Couscous. And finish your meal with the delicious Baklava.
Went for an early dinner at the recommendation of a friend. Best dinner we have had in a long time! Appetizer, main course, and oh the dessert were all amazing! Great wine selection as well and the atmosphere is so unique! Definitely will be back!
It is so nice to have some seasoning and spices! Great spot for Middle Eastern Food! The restaurant is very cute and nicely decorated. We had an amazing server who was polite and attentive. The chicken curry is to die for! Absolutely recommend the curry. The couscous was also savory. The portions are extremely filling. The only thing that really disappointed me was when we went they were out of Baklava. I am sure it would have been delicious because the meal did not disappoint. Great spot for a romantic date night. They also have NA spirits for non drinkers!
Saffron is always taking Butte to the next level. Weekly specials are truly special. (Recent photo added) And regular menu items are delicious. The curry used is so lovely and complex. The meats are thoroughly cooked but not overly; unless you specifically ask for a steak to be cooked at the long- or short-end of the spectrum. Despite the quality of food, Service, and atmosphere, Saffron is not pretentious--very personal. This my go-to place when I need a treat or when someone special comes to town. Check it out if you can--especially if you like a variety of ethic foods! LOVE IT!
